Mountain Experience
A comment from one of our repeat customers: Jason--I'm still glowing from the whole experience and really appreciated your support and encouragements. I meant so much to do this climb. You're great! Nola R., New York
During our 2001 Everest Expedition, Jason led another successful expedition up the mountain, when his team placed 14 of our 16 members on the 29,035' summit, which became the fourth most successful expedition to Everest in history. In April 2002, Jason became the 65th person to climb the famed continental Seven Summits, after his ascent of Koscuiszko, located in New South Wales, Australia. Early on at age 13, Jason was drawn to the mountains after he read such books as "Banner in the Sky" and the 1963 National Geographic on the First American Ascent of Mt. Everest. The romance of learning to climb and trek is really something that he can relate to, and the excitement of guiding and climbing still captivates his interests.
Rock climbing, ice climbing, hiking, skiing, and "working on the house" round out Jasons interest when home, and keep him busy when not guiding in the mountains or planning future adventures. He also spends a lot of time keeping in touch with past participants from adventures hes taken with them around the world. Jason can be contacted via email at jason@mountainexperience.com for further information about our worldwide adventures or questions about Mountain Experience. All questions are welcome! |
