and mail it to our Lakewood office (address noted on the form), along with a
brief trekking/hiking/climbing resume and a $500 deposit. We hope to

Process & Deposit
A $500 deposit, completed Registration Form, and a brief
climbing, hiking, and outdoor resume will hold your place on the team until
five months
before departure. If the trip has filled, we will move you to your second choice trip, if
one has been indicated on your registration form. In any case, we will notify you as soon
as possible to explore alternatives.
The final balance is due five months before departure.
Please make checks payable to Mountain Experience. All
amounts in US Funds.
Potential team members are encouraged to confirm their
places on the team soon, as our trips fill quickly and are done on a first-come basis.
We reserve the right to accept or decline an individual on
our adventures for any reason.

Trip Information
We have a full range of information that will be sent out to
confirmed participants:
Upon Sign-up:
Confirmation letter and related travel information, including
a detailed Trip Itinerary, trip inclusion/exclusions, Trip Equipment and Clothing List,
Medical Release & History, Agreement-Liability Release and Acknowledgment of Risk,
Passport and insurance information, Flight Information, Recommended Reading List, and
other pertinent trip reading materials.
Five Months Prior to Departure:
A detailed travel orientation packet, including visa and
servicing information, and other travel related information will be sent to help prepare
you for your trip.
One Month Prior to Departure:
All final trip details will be completed and sent to you,
including meeting locations, times, and other pertinent information.

Trip Pricing
The minimum number of clients to run our trips is generally
six, with a maximum of nine on most trips (Africa is the exception, where the costs are so
highfor that reason, we may up to 12 participants). All efforts are made to fill
each trip, and if there are fewer than six participants, the trip may be tier priced, due
to economicsaccording to how many people have signed up for the trip. Tier pricing
will increase the trip price for each participant. We will inform you of any tier pricing
possibilities as soon as possible. We try to make tier pricing adjustments, if needed,
around 3-4 months prior to departure.
Tier pricing will not apply to private trips or where we
advertise smaller group sizes.
Should last minute sign-ups come in before the trip
departure, and the trip meets our minimum, your additional tier payment will be refunded
before the trip start date.
If there have been any changes in the trip pricing or dates,
we will advise you upon sign-up and give you the option to stay on the trip or withdraw
your application and we will refund your deposit in full.
Single supplements will be in addition
to the our regular trip price when requested, and may be
assessed if we are not able to pair you up with someone during your
adventure.

Trip CostLand
Costs Include
Our trips generally include the following: all lodging in
hotels, lodges, huts and/or tent camps, between your trip dates. All mountain and lodge
food and meals, except while in the city (some trips may include city group meals).
Airport transfers, ground transport between trip dates, leadership and guides, staff
wages, in-country agents, peak and park fees, permits, leadership, trip organization,
group first aid supplies, Gamow Bag, group equipment, and communication radios.
Items
specifically included or excluded are noted on specific each trips specific
refund policy. If you would like a copy, please
request one for your trip of interest.
Our goal is to provide you with the best service throughout
your adventure, from start to finish.

Refund
Policy
Each of our adventures have specific refund
policies which clearly spell out what we include, do not include, how much
the trip costs, what our policies are, and what the refund policy is for any
given trip. If you would like a copy, please
request one for your trip of interest.
Please Note: Mountain Experience is a
"Registered Seller of Travel" in the State of Washington, which
assures you that your trip deposits and payments are handled according to
the laws of Washington State which govern travel agents and providers of
travel. A trust account is utilized for your deposits and payments per
Washington State Law, which protects your investment in your upcoming
adventure.
Trip
cancellation insurance is highly recommended, and can be purchased through our
recommended travel agency.

Trip Delays
Traveling in third-world countries can often be
unpredictable, and it is difficult to anticipate all possible delays or problems. Prior to
departure and during a trip, we make all attempts to look for these sorts of things that
may alter the trip or potentially increase trip feesto avoid them. However, there
may be some cases where we can not anticipate weather, political, or other causes beyond
our control, which could extend the trip length or costs. Such increases are not included
in the trip land cost.

Airline Information
We will also help arrange your airfare, unless you request
otherwise. Our agent is familiar with our trip requirements and will strive to obtain the
lowest rates. To start your flight arrangements, we ask that you contact our agent, whose
telephone number and name will be listed in your confirmation packet. Many international
flights book early, so attention to this matter is important.
If you prefer to book your own air, please indicate this on
the registration form, and we will leave all the flight details to you. In this case, we
do ask that you forward your flight itinerary to Mountain Experience so your trip leader
can arrange to look for you at your trips destination city.

Trip Doctors
On Selected trips, we may offer qualified physicians
(Emergency physicians, orthopedic or general surgeons, internists, or general
practitioners) a discount on our adventures, to act in a "consulting position"
to the trip leader and participants. The discount will vary from trip to trip, depending
on the number of participants, trips goal and needs. Please contact Mountain Experience for further information.
